Around The Island
Snorkeling from the beach is best along the east coast of the island – the area closest to Ananda provides much soft coral, many colourful fish and often turtles are spotted here. Daily rental rate for mask and fins is around Rp 40.000.
You can join days trips by boat, snorkelling around the best spots of the three islands with a lunch stop on Gili Meno, price Rp 100.000 per person including mask, snorkel and fin rental. The price does not include lunch.
For both experienced divers and those new to diving, there are many dive operators on the island and we are happy to help with information on how to book fun dives and courses.
There is something for everyone from gentle dives with little or no current to drift dives and deep dives. There are fringing reefs, slopes, drop offs, walls and plateaus. In the clear crystal waters you can see for example white and black tip reef sharks, green and hawksbill turtles, eagle rays, manta, napoleon wrasse, bumphead parrot fish, giant morays, nudis, flatworms, pipefish, ribbon eels, scorpion leaf fish, stone fish, flying gurnards, frog fish, octopus, cuttlefish, squid mantis shrimps………
– diving courses on how to dive to 20 metres plus on one breath are also now on offer on Gili Air. These courses range from a one day to three day course, depending on how deep you want to go!! We have more information on that if you are interested.

These are great fun out on the beautiful crystal sea, a great workout to. You can also try SUP yoga!
Daily walk in classes are held twice a day at Blue Marine Beach Yoga and at H20 Yoga and Meditation centre. Beginners always welcome!
There are many spas around the island. You can relax and pamper your bodywith aromatheray massages, scrubs, reflexology, head shiatsu, facials, manicures and pedicures.
An excellent way to see the island. You can rent bicycles here at Ananda. Daily rate is Rp 50.000, discounts for long rentals.
